In the framework of the project "Rehabilitation of wetlands and peatlands in the Centre region" - RePeat colleagues from the Research and Development Institute for Hunting and Mountain Resources Miercurea Ciuc together with members of the National Agency for Protected Natural Areas Harghita and Covasna territorial service continued the rehabilitation work of peatlands in the area of the municipality of Tușnad and municipality of Bilbor at the peatlands: Mlaștina Nyirkert, Mlaștina Nádasfürdő, Tinovul Luci- Centru, Mlaștina from Pârâul Rușilor.
They carried out assessment activities, maintenance of the peatland water regime, installation of information boards, seed collection activities, assessment of the mass of invasive woody vegetation in peatland ecosystems.
