Location: This peat bog is located to the North-West by the peat bog HR-042 - Fântâna Brazilor Swamp, respectively by the village Fântâna Brazilor, as its name shows. The swamp northwest of the village of Fântâna Brazilor in Harghita County belongs administratively to the commune of Corund, located at an altitude of 913 m, with GPS coordinates latitude (N) 46˚29'44.27 "and longitudinal (E) 25 ˚14'47.40 ”, and an area of 20.91 ha. This peat bog is not part of the protected natural areas belonging to the European ecological network NATURA 2000.
Conservation status: The main habitat type is 7140 - Transitional peat bogs, The conservation status of this habitat is considered favorable with minor degradation.
